Financial Accountant (m/f/d)

YOUR PROFILE:

• Successfully completed commercial training, ideally with further training in financial accounting or similar qualification
• At least five years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably with a focus on the construction industry
• Sound knowledge in the management of ARGE accounting and in VAT law
• Very good analytical skills combined with a structured and solution-oriented way of working, as well as strong teamwork, communication and cooperation skills
• High degree of initiative and ability to work under pressure
• Good Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel, knowledge of the ERP systems Microsoft Dynamics 365 desirable
• German at native speaker level, good English skills

YOUR TASKS:

• Support with monthly closing entries as well as with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
• Management of the ARGE accounts
• Carrying out G/L account reconciliations as well as reconciliations of the general ledger and sub-ledgers
• Processing and posting incoming and outgoing invoices
• Preparation of payment proposal lists
• Preparation of advance VAT returns, statistics, ZM
