Building for the future - a bird's eye view - MHKW and KVA Stapelfeld

Replacement construction of the waste-to-energy plant (MHKW) and the new construction of the sewage sludge mono-incineration plant (KVA).

The 220 million Euro project of EEW in Stapelfeld ensures that in the future 64,000 households in the region will be supplied with sustainably generated electricity from waste. This means that more than twice as much electricity will be generated from up to 350,000 tons of waste while the district heating supply will remain unchanged.
