Mainova has an important project for the energy turnaround in Frankfurt

Heitkamp Industrial Solutions is pleased to be involved in this important project for the energy turnaround: the construction of two new units for gas turbines and heat recovery steam generators on the Mainova power plant site in Frankfurt. Construction work for the foundations is already in full swing.

This is a coal-replacement project: the new units will run on natural gas and have a total capacity of 500 megawatts, offering the chance to switch to hydrogen at a later date. They will help to reduce the CO₂ emissions of the Mainova power plant and advance the energy turnaround in Germany.
