Follow the progress of one of EEW Energy from Waste's sustainable projects. We are happy to contribute to the progress!

In the last few weeks, a lot has happened on the building site for the new construction of the waste-to-energy plant (MHKW) and the new construction of a sewage sludge mono-incineration plant (KVA) near Stapelfeld.

The floor slab of the flue gas cleaning system has been concreted and the ceiling of the base building at + 22 metres is finished. Now the construction of supports for the turbine table in the turbine building and the shell of the waste bunker in the northern area are on the agenda.

In addition to the erection of the heavy-duty scaffolding for the bunker pipe, the structural steel erection and the installation of the air heater and the boiler house tensioner have also been completed. The storage yards and storage areas have also been optimised, as the delivery of the new turbine is due soon.
